Welding Filler Material or Titanium Bar?

Titanium welding filler and a titanium machining bar are different procurement requirements. A mill-product grade or bar specification alone does not establish a welding filler classification. For a filler inquiry, specify the required welding material classification, base material and purchaser acceptance requirements.

AWS A5.16/A5.16M addresses titanium and titanium-alloy welding electrodes and rods; ASTM B348/B348M covers titanium and titanium-alloy bars and billets.
